Clayburn Racing Auction Terms
And Conditions

Here’s how to bid on a pigeon

If you are bidding for the first time then please mention the following:

- Your NAME and POSTAL ADDRESS

- the RING NUMBER of the pigeon you wish to bid for

- the AMOUNT you want to bid

- your CONTACT DETAILS

IMPORTANT:

If the ending of the auction is very near, it is safer to make a phonecall, because Internet can't guarantee the email reaches us on time!

Buying orders

You can submit a buying order with us - this allows us to bid for you up to a certain amount.

Bids done with a buying order are noted in the bid list with: "(by b.o.)".

In case of equal buying orders, the bidder who gave the first buying order has priority.

Minimum bid

If price is between 50 and 500 EURO: Min bid increase: 25 EURO

If price is between 500 and 1.000 EURO: Min bid increase: 50 EURO

If price is between 1.000 and 3.000 EURO: Min bid increase: 100 EURO

If price is + 3.000 EURO: Min bid increase: 200 EURO

Auction continuation

If there is a bid during the last 15 minutes before the auction closes, the auction end will be extended by 15 minutes.

Sex of young birds

Example:

- auction ends at 3:00 PM

- there is a bid at 2:49 PM

- the auction end will be extended until 3:15 PM

The sex of the young birds is always an indication! Never 100% sure!

Extra costs

The price you bid is the price you pay. There is NO extra commission charge, like there is in the public auctions!

Shipment

After payment, the pigeon can be collected in person from Ackworth, UK. Transport can also be arranged in different ways, depending on the country of destination. Transport cost will be charged to the buyer.

HAPPY BIDDING!!
